Assalamu'alaikum wa rahmatullah. Our children are our future and we aim to give them the basic understanding and accomplished reading of the Holy Quran.   

Reception - Memorise short surahs from Juzz Amma

Year 1 - Memorise short surahs from Juzz Amma & begin the Iqra book for Qur'anic reading

Year 2 - Memorise longer surahs from Juzz Amma & continue to read from the Iqra book

Year 3 - Memorise longer surahs from Juzz Amma & complete the Iqra book and move onto reading from the Qur'an. Learn rules of Tajweed.

Year 4 - Memorise Juzz Amma and other Juzz of the Qur'an. Learn the rules of Tajweed when reading the Qur'an.

Year 5 - Continue with own memorisation. Learn the rules of Tajweed and apply when reading the Qur'an.

Year 6 - Continue with own memorisation. Learn the rules of Tajweed and apply when reading the Qur'an. 

Some children will meet these targets and move on according to their ability level.
